Facebook Norway today removed the largest group “combating antisemitism” on state-sponsored NRK, Norway’s national TV.

With almost 5,000 active members, the “Stop antisemitism on Norwegian TV” group has spent the past eight years documenting hundreds of cases of anti-Jewish bias in Norwegian media.

The group was removed for the following content:

“We have removed your group from Facebook,” reads the familiar notice. “Your appeal was reviewed and we confirmed that your group goes against our Community Standards for dangerous individuals and organizations.

“You can go to Account Status to review and respond to any restrictions and find more resources.

“You may have the right to challenge our decision in your country’s courts. You may also be able to refer our decision to a certified dispute settlement body.”

Group administrator On Elpeleg told Jewish Home News that the case will go to court.

Comedienne Roseanne Barr has excoriated Norway’s national television, calling them “Nazis.”
