In the scorched Judean Desert, where the Dead Sea marks the lowest point on earth, the salty ruins of ancient Sodom still cry out. This June 1–4, that same afflicted ground will host “Pride Land”—the largest gender disorientation festival in Middle East history, openly promoted by Israel’s Foreign Ministry and official state accounts with the mocking slogan “Pride rises at the lowest place on earth.” If this were truly about pride, they would not need to proclaim it so loudly and incessantly. The very frenzy of their declarations betrays the shame—not pride—that truly motivates them.

Fifteen hotels, beach complexes, nonstop performances, art installations, and “family-friendly” activities will transform the site into a 24-hour Pride City. On the surface, it is sold as tourism and “inclusion.” In truth, it is the resurrection of the מיטת סדום—the Bed of Sodom—retooled for the modern age.

We shall call this trait Sodomite: the brutal insistence on reducing people, biology, events, and reality itself to fit preconceived ideological molds by force or mutilation. The Sodomite utopian does not shape his thought to conform to facts, creation, or divine order. For emotional and ideological reasons, he Sodomizes his environment—stretching, amputating, or distorting whatever refuses to conform. This is not tolerance. It is tyranny disguised as virtue.

The Babylonian Talmud (Sanhedrin 109b) records the Sodomites’ official policy: beds for travelers. Too tall? Lop off the legs. Too short? Stretch and rack the body until it fits. The Torah itself (Genesis 18–19, Ezekiel 16:49) condemns Sodom’s arrogance, excess, and refusal to aid the needy. The Sages used the bed to dramatize the core sin: violent rejection of reality itself. Avraham’s servant Eliezer escaped only by refusing to lie down in it. The city was overturned.

That same Sodomite machine now operates at full throttle. The relentless campaign to draft Haredim into an IDF whose secular values are proudly reflected in this very Dead Sea Pride event is a textbook act of Sodomite stretching: forcing Torah-observant communities to dilute their distinct way of life and stretch their loyalty beyond the breaking point of Halacha in order to fit the state’s homogenized bed of “tolerance.”

Biological sex—male and female, created in the divine image (Genesis 1:27)—must be mutilated or stretched. Traditional Jewish marriage, family, and modesty are lopped away. The immutable facts of human nature and Torah law are deemed too rigid. They must conform to the abstract template: gender as fluid spectrum, pride as supreme idol, dissent as mortal sin. Reality itself is tortured into uniformity.

The Supernova Precedent: Idolatry Desecrates Simchat Torah

This is not the first time secular revelry and pagan-infused festivals have invited calamity upon the Jewish people. Recall Simchat Torah 5784. The Nova music festival—held in the western Negev near Kibbutz Re’im—hedonistic, pagan-infused, complete with Buddha statues and technological idols of surveillance and algorithms—desecrated the holy day of rejoicing in Torah.

When the barbarians struck on October 7, those silent idols did absolutely nothing. Buddha remained dead and impassive. The watchtowers, sensors, and digital golden calves blinked uselessly while slaughter unfolded. As the article “Where Was Buddha on October 7th?” exposed, trusting in graven images and human cleverness alone leaves a people exposed and helpless when the fear of Heaven is cast aside. Policy divorced from awe of the Creator turns fortifications into farce.

Pride Land is the next provocation. Placing this festival on the shores where fire once fell from Heaven is no coincidence. It is deliberate desecration, mocking the biblical record while forcing the Jewish homeland into a Sodomite mold.

The True Forces Behind the Agenda: Totalitarian ‘Democracy’ and the Disease of Coercion

The spiritual antecedents are clear: the direct heirs of Sodom’s bed-keepers. They operate through a toxic alliance of Western progressive ideology, secular Israeli elites, the Supreme Court, international tourism boards, and cultural enforcers who view Torah-rooted Jewish distinctiveness as the ultimate disparity to be erased.

This is the totalitarian democracy critiqued in “Totalitarian Israeli Democracy in the Age of Reason.” It is not genuine liberty but a messianic “general will” that demands absolute conformity. Dissent—especially from Torah Jews prioritizing Halacha—is treated as irrational fanaticism to be re-educated or liquidated. The Supreme Court imposes liberal-progressive visions, striking down laws rooted in Jewish values. Haredi parties are coerced into coalitions through financial plunder, forced to compromise on gender disorientation and other abominations or face ruin. The “tyranny of tolerance” is merciless internally while fawning externally.

These forces do not tolerate difference. They demand total surrender. Children’s activities, state promotion, and elite celebration all serve one end: reshaping the Jewish public square until it fits the progressive template. What cannot be stretched must be cut. Critics are bigots. Torah Jews are extremists. The location at Sodom is the ultimate Sodomite act—distorting history and creation itself.

Sovereignty Is an Illusion—Return to the King of Kings

As laid out in “Yom Ha’atzmaut 5786: Israel’s Sovereignty Is a Dangerous Illusion,” the current state apparatus offers no true independence. It is a client entity, dependent on foreign powers, bureaucratic control, and globalist pacts that trade biblical heartland for illusory normalization. Secular Zionism has become political idolatry, replacing the eternal covenant with state worship.

We reject this illusion. True Jewish sovereignty flows only from the King of Kings and His Torah.

A Prayer for Mercy

The Bed of Sodom has been rebuilt in Pride City. The question for this generation is not whether the forces pushing this agenda appear strong—they do not. The question is whether we will lie down in it or stand unyielding with the Torah.

Reality is not negotiable.

The Jewish people, reborn in our ancestral land, must reject the Sodomization of creation. Only by returning to unforced conformity with the divine will can we ensure that the lowest place does not, once again, witness divine fire.

Master of the Universe, have mercy on Your people Israel. Do not respond in kind to this brazen provocation at the site of ancient Sodom. Spare us the judgment we witnessed on that infamous Simchat Torah when the Supernova festival’s idols stood silent amid slaughter. Turn our hearts in teshuva. Remove the Sodomite bed from our midst. Restore awe of Heaven, Torah sanity, and authentic Jewish sovereignty under Your kingship. Let not the lowest place on earth become the scene of fresh calamity. May we merit to stand with Avraham, reject the mutilation of truth, and see the full redemption of the Jewish people with mercy and strength. Amen.
