The late Prime Minister Menachem Begin was adamant in his opposition to a “Palestinian” state:
Yet when Begin signed an accord that had as its official English translation the concept of a “Palestine people” and its “legitimate and basic rights,” he set the stage for the greatest identity theft in world history.
Instead of cleaving to a staunch, open, and honest disclaimer of any “Palestine people,” he signed an accord that speaks of a “Palestine people,” and then stated in a letter to President Jimmy Carter that he construes “Palestine people” to mean “Palestinian Arabs.”
Today, Israeli “hasbara” public relations efforts prove futile, counterproductive, and destructive, despite their factual correctness, because the specific language that Menachem Begin signed at Camp David implicitly specified for the first time in history that “Palestine People” would henceforth be “Palestinian Arabs,” thus setting the basis for vilifying and evicting the indigenous Palestinian Jews.
Some Israeli spokesmen, official and otherwise, try to answer detractors who challenge them about treatment of “Palestinians” by feigning ignorance. “Who? ‘Palestinians?’ Never heard of them.”
The tactic never convinces anybody because it continues to evade the central issue, that “Palestine” was a Roman psychological operation conceived as an explicit identity theft, and that we Jews are the Palestinians.
On the other hand, today’s “Palestinians” are the first national movement in world history conceived for the express purpose to serve as an instrument for the genocide of an existing nation, and it is for this purpose that they receive world support.
Fortunately, both individuals and nations can protect themselves from identity theft. The techniques available to private individuals and nations are conceptually similar. The key factor that unites them all is vigilance:
• Password-protect your devices: Passwords are about authentication. In the national sense, Jewishness requires authentication. Public policy regarding “Who is a Jew?” has eroded to the point that Israel’s Law of Return guarantees citizenship to anyone with at least one Jewish grandparent, in violation of Jewish law.
On numerous occasions, various Israeli Prime Ministers and government officials have given their solemn word to support amending the “Who is a Jew” law, to explicitly state that “a Jew is someone born to a Jewish mother, or who converted according to Jewish law.” These promises were broken for political considerations.
To password-protect the Jewish people against identity theft, Israel’s “grandparent clause” that corrupts its Law of Return must be abolished.
• Use a password manager to securely store and manage login credentials for various accounts. On a national level, this means the Jewish People must establish a sefer yichusin, a genealogy register similar to that maintained by every Jewish community in Eastern Europe prior to World War II.
• Watch out for phishing attempts: Phishing scams often impersonate trusted organizations. In a national sense, allies act according to the dictates of Machiavellian realpolitik, and never should be trusted. In this sense, foreign aid resembles a phishing scam. Israel must go cold turkey on foreign aid like a heroin addict who finally realizes this is soon killing him.
• Never give out personal information over the phone: Legitimate organizations will not ask you to compromise sensitive information; if they do, they may be trying to steal your identity. Legitimate allies will not impose ceasefires on a nation defending itself against a war of annihilation. If they do, they may be trying to eradicate your identity.
Of course, all this is predicated upon HAVING an identity, or knowing what it is. In a case of national amnesia, where a people’s roots are severed, rectification must take place at the leadership level.
Israel’s past five Education Ministers were responsible for educating the current generation of 20-year-olds.
Their failure as Education Ministers to educate allowed Jewish children to celebrate before an idol on a Jewish festival and be slaughtered, which would never have occurred had those children been educated in Jewish history. For that matter, the expulsion of Gaza’s Jews that facilitated the catastrophe itself could not have happened.
Therefore, it is proper and fitting for Israel’s dismal so-called Education Ministers to face a capital punishment tribunal.
- Yoav Kisch, Likud Party (2021–present);
- Shai Piron, Yesh Atid Party (2013–2015);
- Gideon Saar, Likud Party (2009–2013);
- Yuli Tamir, Labor Party (2006–2009);
- Limor Livnat, Likud Party (2001–2006).
A call to hold Israel’s Education Ministers accountable does not stem from personal vendetta, but to demonstrate the ramifications of their negligence, and to show future candidates for the position what sacred responsibility is expected of them.
Whoever thinks being a party hack in ambitious pursuit of personal power is sufficient credential for the high office of Education Minister must himself be re-educated.
To preserve Jewish identity, we must realize that G-d did not say “I know Abraham will send his children to school.” He said, “I know he will teach his children after him.” The only way for your children to absorb true Jewish identity is to receive it from you. Nobody else is going to give it to them the way you can, and the only way for you to give it to them is to give it to them yourself.
If national vigilance is the key to protecting against national identity theft, every Jew who says “Shema,” every Jew who has a mezuza on his door, already has the most reliable advice obtainable anywhere, ever, for protecting one’s self against identity theft: “Guard yourselves lest your hearts be seduced and you turn astray and serve gods of others and bow to them. Then G-d’s wrath will blaze against you. He will restrain the heaven so there will be no rain and the ground will not yield its produce. And you will swiftly be banished from the good land that G-d gives you.”
Earthly governments only punish for violating the law; there is no special reward for those who uphold it. But the Creator does not administer His creation in the ways of flesh and blood: “…If you hearken to my commandments that I command you today, to love the L-rd your G-d and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul, I will provide rain for your land in its proper time, the early and late rains, that you may gather in your grain, your wine, and your oil. I will provide grass in your field for your cattle and you will eat and be satisfied.”
Everybody wants to be The Jews. Nobody wants the Torah. This means that the best way for the Jews to defend themselves from all those who would usurp Jewish history, land, and identity is to uphold the Torah and teach its Truth to your children without fear or distortion: There are no “Palestinians” besides us, the Jewish People. We Jews ARE the Palestinians.
